On Saturday, November 16, Atlas Corps hosted the Diversity & Inclusion Gala at Eaton in Washington, DC. The event was our largest gathering to date. We brought together more than 220 friends of Atlas Corps and thousands of virtual viewers alongside our Fellows for an evening of celebration.
Highlights of the evening included a spoken word performance by Fellow Patience (Nigeria, Host: Teen Empowerment) (watch on Facebook), remarks by the Chair of our Board of Directors Whitney Hunter-Thomson (watch on Facebook), inspiring words by Atlas Corps Founder & CEO Scott Beale (watch on Facebook), and the presentation of the Atlas Corps Global Changemaker Award to Dr. Rohini Anand (watch on Facebook), an individual who has dedicated her life to advancing diversity and inclusion in the professional sphere. Enjoy more highlights on the Atlas Corps Blog!
Over the years, so many people have contributed to our success—the friends who first listened to my crazy idea, our first Fellows who were true trailblazers, our Host Organizations, our donors, our 750 social change leaders from 95 countries! A special thank you to our Board, Host Committee, Sponsors, and Team for hosting a very successful evening!
