I want to strike because world leaders are not ready to listen to us and make the change we are looking for and to address the climate crisis heating the young generation.
I want to strike because marginalized communities across Nigeria — especially neglected communities and low-income communities are already disproportionately impacted by climate change.
I want to strike because many children are out of school. They are the leaders of today and tomorrow. We should start looking at the future as a sustainable platform for them all. Teaching them the way to go and handling the battle of a sustainable future in their hand will make the world a better place.
With our future at stake, I call for all section of the government to act now to combat climate change and its countless detrimental effects on th
Nigeria citizens expecially in the northern regon where we have the insurgency and the conflict.
I want to strike because I believe in the Green New Deal. The GND is a deal for the future of young people. Including young and old we need to start making sure we take the necessary action to stop the creation of new fossil fuel infrastructure and to work on the Niger Delta issue.
I want to strike because we believe the climate crisis is not a joke and we need to take urgent action now as we are running out of time.
