Oky Adrian earned a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from Bina Nusantara University and a Master’s degree in Information Systems Development from Hogeschool van Arnhem en Nijmegen (HAN), in the Netherlands, and a short course in data science at the University of South Australia. He became a government employee at the Ministry of Education and Culture and was then promoted to a supervisor with duties in collecting, processing, presenting data & information, analyzing current and future policy for policy formulation, implementation, evaluation publication, and public relations in the area of research and development. He was assigned as a Project Manager at the National Education Standards Agency to manage the meetings and policy brief for the board. Later, he was assigned project manager for the national assessment program. Those posts gave him experience and help him in shaping his ability and knowledge in government management and budgeting matters. For international fora, he also participated in meetings of the APEC Human Resources Working Group (APEC HRDWG) in Indonesia, China, the Philippines, Peru, Viet Nam, and Chile. Besides the work experiences, his personal interest in traveling has made him a more open-minded person and respect other’s way of life and cultures. Apart from traveling, he has a high interest in sports, particularly automotive sports: MotoGP and Formula 1. He believes that discipline, hard-working, and an open mind will bring us a successful person.
