Hasnain Akber Musavi is currently a fellow at Teach For Pakistan. With a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations from National Defence University, Islamabad, Hasnain has been involved in both the development and business sectors over the past four years, leading multiple projects and initiatives. His most notable project, the ‘Young Shapers’ initiative, engaged 600+ young people in a learning-by-doing philosophy and saw the successful completion of six projects in just one year, such as the Act Clean Fellowship Program, Climate Action Bootcamp, ShapingYou(th), and Sponsor A Meal. Hasnain’s ideas have been recognized at international platforms such as the Asian Development Bank, IBA Karachi, Accountability Lab, and Beta-i Portugal. He has also been selected as one of the trainers from Pakistan to attend the ‘Leadership, Organizing and Action for Climate Change’ event by AktivAsia and CSIDC and represented Pakistan at the COP27 Simulation Model at British University in Egypt by UNDP in Cairo, Egypt. Hasnain is passionate about environmental policy and believes that the institute could be a powerful platform to bring much-needed change to his community. He is excited to meet fellow changemakers from around the world. Hasnain is also looking forward to collaborating with them and leveraging their unique expertise in order to amplify his advocacy efforts.
