Beautiful landscapes, hospitalble people, security, and good schools make Hunza Valley in Pakistan a favourite amongst local and foreign tourists. Enveloped in the grand Himalayas and the Karakoram mountain ranges, the valley provides spectacular views of some of the most beautiful and magnificent mountains of the world.

The main town in Hunza is Karimabad – the area most tourists prefer to stay due to hotels and guest houses, restaurants, and a local market in the area. The ideal time to go to Hunza is May-October. Several tourism companies in Pakistan arrange frequent visits offering tourists the choice of going there by air, or if you enjoy scenery and a long car ride, you can take your car or a bus ride. Its long, but its worth the views!

Here are just some highlights from my previous trips to Hunza. I hope you enjoy! I hope you enjoyed these pictures. If you are an Atlas Corps Fellow and ever pass by Pakistan, you know one of the places you must see!
