This year has been crazy for reasons we are all aware of. However, quarantine lately seems like some kind of old story, with many services gradually opening up, we started to go back to normal, or, let’s say, we created our new normal in these circumstances. As we started going out, meeting with friends, have some kind of social interactions, but still, many of us are still battling with anxiety, depression or other mental health issues.
I wanted to write about this topic because it is something that I have been battling with for sone time now, and I came into starting to mastering some of the technics I have been/started using that really helped me out. And here I am sharing it with you hoping some of you will find it handy.
The main thing I recommend is journaling: you do not need to write a long text, just put something on a paper, whether it is some words, or a drawing that reflet your feelings is really helpful, I found that very important to get out some negative energy, and even helpful to understand your thoughts.
Another thing that helped me is dancing: it really boosts your mood, even if you don’t like dancing or that you do not consider yourself as a good dancer, just move your body for like one song, you can definitely afford to do that and I assure you that you will have a mood change.
Get Vitamin D: since the weather is still friendly with us, get some Vitamin D, whether sitting in the balcony or going out for a short quick walk (while maintaining social distance) is good for yor health and your mood. Make it a goal.
And the last thing I want you to consider is to maintain a healthy diet: it is quite ironic since I am the first one to break this rule, I personally messed up with my food during the last few months, but, seriously, let’s treat our bodies with respect.
