What do you do when you don’t know what to do?
You do nothing.
I learned that from pain; I learned that from sorrow.
I learned to shut up to listen.
I learned to zone out to fall into a vortex inside of my own self.
I learned to call people out to become aware of my mistakes
I learned to shut up to coexist with the loud voices in my head.
I got destroyed.
Then I was born again.
I stopped.
I stopped talking, so I could think
I stopped thinking, so I could be present
That’s when God appeared.
In the midst of myself twirling around dancing.
In the middle of a drunk, Saturday night.
My purpose burst out of the flames of my mortal existence
Then I changed, and it hurt.
Only to give birth to myself again.
