About Hira Tauqeer

Hira Tauqeer is a young project management professional. Currently she is an Atlas Corps fellow serving at Making Cents International as a Communication & Outreach coordinator in Washington DC. In this role she is responsible for developing communications efforts by new content for social media and email campaigns. She is supporting research for partnerships with members of the private, public, and non-governmental sectors to gain their involvement in and support of the Global Youth Economic Opportunities Summit 2016. Prior to that she was working as a Resident Administrative & Program Officer at NDI office in Islamabad. In that role she was working on Training Fellowship program (USAID) to provide training to political party members/workers on leadership, political organizing, public speaking and communications skills. She has a master's degree in Project Management (MPM) and Bachelor's degree in Business Administration (BBA-hons). She has written a number of research papers including "Conflict among global virtual teams" and "Mentoring". She is fluent in English & Urdu and a beginner in Spanish language
