‘People who use time wisely spend it on activities that advance their overall purpose in life’- John C. Maxwell
1. ‘Everybody wants something, but not everybody gets what they want’- Tai Lopez: The reason why only few people get what they want in life is that many people are not willing to work for what they want. It is one thing to have dreams, and it’s another to act upon them. You don’t have to wake up at 4:30am, it could be just an hour earlier than you normally do, or it could be sleeping late to work on your dreams, whatever works for you. When it hit me that this life I have can end at any time, I realized that my biggest fear is not about the dying itself, but rather it’s about my dreams and goals dying with me having never been realized because I procrastinated. I did this #21earlydays Challenge because I wanted to change myself in order to improve, to be better than I was yesterday, to be more and do more. I am in this world to be all that I was creates to be. But it will not happen on its own. I have to act. I refuse to die an unlived life, so should you.
2. ‘If you keep on doing what you’ve been doing, you’ll keep on getting what you’ve always got’- W.L. Bateman: Change is easy, but it is not simple. Yet change is necessary if we are to grow and develop. I wanted more results in my life so I decided to change. Was it simple? No! Was it worth it? Absolutely! The thing is, if your current status of being or your way of life right now is not getting you the results you desire, maybe it’s time to change in order for you to get your desired results. Again, it doesn’t have to be waking up at an insane hour, it could be changing other things, like changing your eating habits in order to eat healthier and avoid preventable diseases, changing your sleeping pattern so that you can be resting more, changing some of your relationships because they are not beneficial or because they are toxic, etc. If you say you’ll wait till you feel like it, you may never change. I almost gave up because I did not feel like waking up every morning at 4:30am, but I did it anyway. So each day that I woke up at 4:30am made me believe in myself more.
3. ‘Limits, like fear, is always an illusion’– Michael Jordan: I’ve always believed that I am not a morning person, and sure enough, I never was able to wake up early. But isn’t it funny that the four weeks I have woken up early every week day? I was limiting myself by believing that I couldn’t do it. We all have set and believed in limitations and because we believe them, they manifest in our lives. But try to overcome those limitations and see, they’ll disappear, because they are only an illusion. We can be more and do more, as long as we are willing to overcome our fears.
